Are you a Vancouver public school student, educator, parent or alumnus? We’d love to hear from you!
Vancouver’s public schools play a central role in civic life. They are centres of cultural activity and have a defining role in shaping communities and neighbourhoods. From September to December 2011 we invite you to celebrate Vancouver’s 125th Anniversary by participating in this project.
Share your stories about the history and significance of your school.
- How many languages are spoken by your students?
- How are you promoting and celebrating Aboriginal culture?
- What are you most proud of about your school?
- What community art projects have your students participated in?
Don’t be shy! The Vancouver Schools at 125 Yearbook project is collecting the answers to these questions (and more) because we want the world to know about the great things that are happening in Vancouver’s public schools.
As this website grows, it will showcase the work of students in a variety of disciplines including visual arts, writing, music, performance and multi media.
